Pablo "Love love love" (iMusic Underground Records CD Promo)

Pablo McFee has been around for quite some time now, being involved in projects such as Q-Rius "Peace & love" and "Spread love" or Da Boss "I'm so in luv with you", and he also worked with the likes of Zoo Experience or Jimi Polo. Now he's back with the Glenn Gregory produced "Love love love", a truly soulful house track featuring heartfelt vocals by Pablo McFee alongside classy synth hooks and gentle jazzy piano, all nicely arranged over a deeply stormin' underground-ish groove.

This track has been getting rave reviews from those in the know and rightly so. You can expect a good old fashioned, deep, piano driven driven affair with emotionally charged vocals and a lovely atmosphere generated in no small part by the deft use of strings. Classy!

This release is a prime example of what real underground house music is all about.

iMusic Underground bless us with some great releases this month (to pay tribute to the current season we call it "Summer Sampler"). First there is "Summer Haze" by Charles (Chill 00) Mitchell and Drew Lockhart, a wonderful track on a laidback chill-out vibe featuring beautiful melodic keys and chords alongside male spoken vocals and words over a smooth, deeply thumpin' groove. The 'Stripped Down Mix' drops the spoken words, while both the 'L Mix' and 'M Dub' are great alterations with some nice changes added. "New day" by Zarmank is a marvelous deep house track featuring lush atmospheric synths and sweet percussion elements over a deeply rumblin' groove, while "Naive" by David Diginyah Timothy combines a deeply thumpin' groove with Disco tinged strings, lovely horns and warm melodies. Finally we have "Sereno do Brazil" by Sonny Joey Washington, a summery laidback track featuring a magnificent sax, melodic chords and animal noises making you feel you're in the middle of the jungle.

Rene Hewitt launches his own record label iMusic Underground with the release of three beautiful tracks, teaming up with some very talented producers. On "Sunrise" and "Escape", he teams up with Louie 'LooweeR' Rivera to present two laidback tracks, with both of them making use of a sweet'n'deep, percussion enriched groove, melodic chords and jazzy keys. "Sunrise" also features a funky guitar riff and jazzy flute that give the track a mellow vibe. "Native" sees Rene Hewitt team up with Jaysun Merced, a track that gets deep with stompin' beats leading the way for the percussion elements, vocal samples, melodic chords and spaced-out synths.
